UW-MILWAUKEE STUDENT ARRESTED IN CLASS
The incident was recorded on a cell phone by another student in the class, who’s also a WISN 12 employee.
She posted the video on YouTube, but has since taken it off that site. The video, which was edited for profanity, is posted in this report.Witnesses said the whole thing started during a discussion about an exam.The school told 12 News it is investigating the incident to determine whether the student will be allowed back in class. I will leave my own personal opinion out of this one, and show a few comments that were posted on the original video from YouTube.
-The young woman was disruptive but it was lamentable that it took policemen to have to resolve the situation instead of the teacher’s moral authority which apparently was weak or lacking. (NewTet , YT)

-I live in milwaukee and you have been given the correct information about this story. That black girl had a question about an exam but the teacher wanted to wait after class so they could discuss it. The student, obviously didnt want to wait that long and got restless. -Video goes on for 3 minutes before we see police. Assuming they arrived in 5, this bitch had been causing a shitstorm for 10~ minutes, wasting everyone’s time.

-The other people in the class *also* paid to be there. If this chick was preventing them from learning, because she was disrupting the class – she SHOULD be forced to leave. She was asked to leave, and wouldn’t – just kept getting louder. This isn’t racism. It’s about being considerate. I have watched the video a number of times, some of the comments stating she was getting ready to leave are wrong because she specifically stated that she wasn’t leaving the room and she would have to be dragged out. I really think she should not be allowed to attend that class anymore. Every other student is also paying tuition at UW-Milwaukee and every other university around the nation. There are not many students that are privileged enough to have their parents pay for their education. This should also be an indication that universities should be more strict on behavior in the classroom. I have witnessed firsthand how disruptive people can be, you ask them to stop and they do not. I wouldn’t go as far as kicking her out of the university, but being expelled for a semester would be a good way of saying the university will not tolerate this type of action by its students.
